This Privacy Policy describes how the MailMarkup – HTML Editor for Email Chrome Extension (referred to as “MailMarkup”, “the extension”, “we”, or “our”) handles user data and ensures user privacy when using our extension on the Chrome browser.
MailMarkup provides users with an HTML editing interface directly inside E-mail's compose window. The extension works solely within the https://mail.google.com/
domain and enhances the user's email formatting experience. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension does not collect any information about you, your emails, or your browsing activity. All interactions and processing occur locally in your browser.
MailMarkup requires the following permissions:
These permissions are strictly used to provide core functionality. No data is transmitted externally.
This extension does not use cookies, fingerprinting, analytics services, or any tracking mechanisms.
MailMarkup does not use or connect to any third-party APIs or services. All features are self-contained within your browser.
No personal or email data is stored. Any configuration data (such as HTML templates) is stored locally using Chrome’s `storage` API and can be cleared by the user at any time.
Since no data is collected or stored, there is no personal information to access, modify, or delete. Users have full control of the extension through Chrome’s Extension Manager.
This policy may be updated to reflect future changes in functionality or compliance. All updates will be posted here with a revised date.
